The building which houses "Alla Pergola" dates from the time of the Longobard kings 400/500. In the past was the palace of the Prefect of Verona, and in 1743 it became a convent dedicated to the Virgins of Saint Maria of Solaro. In 1806 it was deconsecrated by Napoleon and sold to privats who converted it into house and inn. On the outside façade is still distinguishable today a tabernacle, which dates back to the first half of XV century, and three blocks of red marble of the church which once stood on the site.
